Does your hearing have to be perfect in order to enlist for the Army?
I may or may not have mild/moderate Hearing Loss. I haven’t been tested yet, so I’m not sure. The last time I took a Hearing Test was last year, and I passed.
So let’s assume the worst and I have mild hearing loss in both of my ears, and people might have to repeat themselves when I’m talking to them. How bad does my hearing have to be in order to be disqualified?
I’ve never had a Hearing Aid either.

This explains how the ” PULHES” system works in the army. Basically it all comes down to the job (MOS) you want in the army. You can go to a recruiter and ask what “PULHES” you need for a certain MOS. Hope this helps.
